This is a game prototype that is still very very very early on in the development process.
The basic inspiration behind this game is a 2D block based world similar to terraria.
With Test Release 2.0 I have added various new features. Primarily I have increased the resolution of the world. This means that more blocks fit inside of a smaller space. Allowing more detailed editing of the world.
The area pictured in the most zoomed out image is less than 1 64th of the entire world.
This game is written in C# using the MonoGame framework ( Monogame is an open source XNA replacement )

There isn't much to do in the game right now. I mainly just need people with different machines and different specs to run it and see if it explodes immediately.
NOTE: I have not implemented a loading screen yet. When you double click the game it will appear to hang for a few seconds. It is merely loading the world and will begin rendering once the whole world is loaded.
CONTROLS:
W,S,A,D = Move Camera
Q = Zoom Out
E = Zoom In
Space = Remove block
Num Pad 0
Num Pad 1
Num Pad 2
Num Pad 3
Num Pad 4
Num Pad 9 = Toggle block removal area size
Once you have fired it up please post your specs and how the performance was. I should probably implement a FPS COUNTER :p

This should be on Steam and you should be charging people a minimum of 15 quid for "early access Alpha". That's how the pros do it.
