Hey guys! I recently wanted to play some Halo 2 on my original xbox and I tried hooking the thing up into my HDTV but I only get sound and no video... I wasn't sure if something was wrong with my Xbox so I tried it on an old tube TV and everything works perfectly.
I only have the original RGB cables that came with the Xbox. I made sure the ports in my TV were input and not output. Do I need an HD cable to play my Xbox on the HDTV? (It's not that big of an issue, I just don't want to spend money if I don't need too.) Or is there a setting on the Xbox so it will work on HDTVs? I don't think I can get into the original dashboard because my father installed XBMC on the Xbox a long time ago. I guess I could reformat the hard drive and all that junk, but I really don't want to.

Same thing with mine, can't hook up my N64 or PS2 because the image doesn't come through properly. Is it and LG? Other HDTV's might be compatible, I have a different smaller HDTV which works just fine (although hooking in a non-HD console to an HDTV makes the graphics look something awful).
