So the Ghost Edition was revealed at $149.99 in America. That translates to €109.21.
I then log on to my local Gamestop site here in Ireland to see the price tag of €220.
Because I live in Ireland, the Ghost edition costs me an extra €110.79. That's more then double the price. Yes double! I understand it costs money to ship games but it doesn't cost anything near that much. I'm pretty angry as an avid Destiny fan and a consumer.

Yeah the $149.99 converts to £86 for the UK and they're charging us £149.99 for it. Which converts to $257! Still not as much as the Euro tho!:/
-
Yeah elsewhere in europe it's not so crazily priced, sucks for us :(

Sadly this issue is fairly common and currency conversion rates hit many companies because of supply chain issues and how products are distributed and made available for sale at retail stores etc around the world.
-
You can't order from a u.s store and have it sent to you ? Just wondering
-
The conversion rate sucks for anyone outside the U.S. Even I know this despite living in the U.S. because it is just so terrible. It would probably be cheaper for you to import from the U.K. or other parts of Europe.

I'd love to hear how much the Ghost edition would cost in other countries, let me know.
