From the Digital Guardian Edition pre-order page:
40 GB hard drive storage (or its equivalent) is required. Additional storage may be required for some updates and features. Storage requirements subject to change.
I usually see people asking about the storage requirements for Destiny - especially on #Support - so I thought I may as well post it :)

Awesome, thanks for the link!

Sweet good thing I'm getting zeh white ps4 bundle as well as ghost
-
Actually on the page for the regular edition it says 20 GB, and on the digital it says 40 GB. So either they are confused about the size, or maybe that is hinting at how massive the expansion packs will be?
-
But what if all I have is a 500GB? Now I have to buy a 40GB?
-
Well if it lasts 10 years as they stated. Over 50 GB in no time.

Edited by AtomSwitchblade: 7/9/2014 1:15:54 PMAwesome. Thanks for the info. Was wondering about that.
-
That's fine. I have a 4TB external HDD hooked up to my One anyway. I'm good for storage space. ;)

-
Thanks man I heard it on moreConsole but thanks anyway

Oh well, by looking at the Alpha with it's 5-6 GB I find this realistic, but would up it to 50 GB "Starting Space". Over time, there will be updates, Add-Ons. It seems much, but you should have 100 GB HDD-Storage free for this Game. If you think that's overrated, check Buglefield4 out. Original 28 GB, but with all updates and "new" Maps this Game alone is now about 50 GB big. At least this is what my PS4 tells me.
-
That's nothing.
-
40gb! Thats the max space on my PS3, geez hope thats just PS4
-
My xbone said 10GB for the beta while we're on the subject.
-
Yo Density so fat ! 40GB + the patch/updates + DLC.
-
This definitely seals the deal for me then. If the Xbox Marketplace doesn't have pre-loading available for this game, I'm getting standard edition.

Welcome to the next generation, console gamers, where 500GB isn't actually all that much.
