I hate ticks more than I hate mosquitoes. If there were no ticks, I could go on hikes without having to coat myself in poison. Lyme Disease would also become less of a problem.

Between West Nile virus, that new disease they are spreading, malaria, and heart worm for animals, mosquitos kill a lot more and are much more prevalent. They also bite faster and swarm way more than ticks. Yes, ticks suck (literally lololololololol), but I'd rather have to deal with them than mosquitos.

Incorrect. Since a food source of bats would be gone (although, honestly, they eat more than mosquitos), they would simply [I]all[/I] evolve into batmen (to acquire better hunting skills and such) and the world would be crime free.
