And why not make a PC version that way smart PC gamers will buy the game twice...

Nor can you pirate an always online game. Besides modding games more often then not makes them better. But console plebs don't know what it is to experience Skyrim modded. Pirating has really hurt games like LoL, WoW, DotA2. Oh wait.... It hasn't.
