HOW TO CLAN - Conversion from Group to Clan Explained!
Many have asked me how clans will work in Destiny. Allow me to explain! DeeJ recently clarified a bit in this weekly update, plus I have first hand experience by using the Test Clan Mode during the Alpha.
[i]Registration[/i] - start by joining this group as a [b]MEMBER[/b]. Followers will not have the opportunity to upgrade to clanmate status. Then wait for release date September 9. At that time check back here for step 2.
[i]Conversion[/i] - On September 9 I should have the ability to upgrade this group to Clan mode. Anyone that wishes to upgrade to Clan status and receive the benefits must choose to do so. After I approve you, our logo [u]Reclaim Destiny[/u] will appear on your in-game playercard, as well as enabling you to view and interact with the Clan Roster. You will see all Clanmates, their Online status, their equipped Gear, their stats and rating. You will be able to message and send invites as well as join open games. Also you will be eligible for the exclusive clan trophies, and possibly other rewards such as exotic gear, if your fireteams are all registered clan members.

Why does it say not enough people to start clan when I have 6 people . For some reason only shows two clan mates but six people in groups?

3 RepliesQuestion: Will current members of a group be automatically carried over once clan mode is activated on 9-9-2014 or will each member have to send a join request to be approved by the admin(s) that run the group?

7 RepliesI know the game is not cross playform but does a group that turns into a Clan on B.net work across all four platforms? You may not have an answer for this as the alpha was Sony only but just throwing Thai out there to expand on the thread.

1 ReplySweet, so it will be a nice easy process with rewards for being in a clan. Also, before sept 9th we'll have "clan" play lobby's, raids, strikes, and pvp times right? You know just so we can feel out the other members and see who we play best with and has about the same schedule of play right?
