You guys probably remember my thread pleading with you to stop blindly following the Traveler, and to instead pledge your allegiance to the Darkness.
Well it looks like Bungie has begun its public relations "spin campaign," branding us as a cult (see picture above). As you know, cults are seen as a bunch of crazy fools who prey on the weak and innocent.
Lies! LIES! This is all just a marketing campaign designed to hypnotize you into fighting for an egg in the sky! No -- We are not a cult. We are strongly individualistic. We encourage disagreement, as long as you are disagreeing with Travelbots. We don't worship anything, except sorta the Darkness, but not completely. Trinary Star is about reality, not about praising the Traveler. And the reality is, the Darkness is awesome. Our mission is to inspire people to think for themselves and not be brainwashed!
So as you can see, Trinary Star (or Trinarians for short) is a hip, awesome, cool group of free thinkers who reject Bungie's implications. They want you to believe that the Darkness is "bad" and the Traveler is "good." You know what that sounds like to me? COMMUNISM.
So don't be afraid to go against Bungie's vicious slander and pledge your allegiance to our REAL savior. All hail the Darkness!
P.S. I have to say, though, that Bungie did do a nice job of rendering our cape.

I'd like to point out that we don't really know anything about the Trinary Star. It's possible they are not part of the Darkness but rather a group of humans who do not trust The Traveler. If that is the case I'm totally on board. I don't trust that glowy orb of mystery.
