I guess even the game industry is going to start trying way too hard to be politically correct. Not because there's a gay character in the game, but because they're advertising it like its the greatest thing ever. It was only a matter of time.

Seems redundant. People are still going to make sexual passes at other characters. And not just in-game. I'm talking about fan-fiction, cosplay, movies, mods, etc. Also, sexual preferences shouldn't define someone.

7 RepliesI love how they get a whole interview and make a big announcement there will be a gay character in Dragon age though Elder Scrolls have had gay characters for the longest time and they don't even say anything of it. It's just there, and there is no "you're married to a person of the same gender?!" option when you talk to them.

They're already making a mistake by making a big deal about it. I'm pretty sure gay people just want equality with straight people. Using homosexuality as a selling point isn't really helping with that.
