S. coleoptrata, AKA house centipedes. I encounter them a lot here, sometimes in bathrooms. They are fast and I have constant anxiety about when the next of the devil's spawn will dart into sight.

Just read up on then. They don't seen too bad considering they kill spiders and other unwanted insects. I've killed 2 in my house though.

No. I want to keep my natural target practice in existence.

I have a few of those in my basement. There's one big one that's nearly a foot long though. Always chills on this one spot on the wall that I can barely see in my periphery and it darts out of sight as soon as I turn the light on and freak out momentarily about this big insect sprinting across the wall into the remaining dark. That being said, I wouldn't choose them. I only dislike bugs when they startle me, otherwise they're not too bad.

"nearly a foot long" Do you mind if I ask for your address so I may BURN YOUR DAMN HOUSE TO THE GROUND!

Firstly, my house is made of concrete, so you can't burn it to the ground. Secondly, bugs really aren't that bad. They're just critters like everything else. Disclaimer: I was raised by an Ecological Professor and a Neurosurgical Specialist, so it is exceptionally hard for me to get grossed out.

Those things were a close 2nd for me.
