Also, do you think having cheat codes in a game adds to the experience or detracts from it?
-
Mortal Kombat
-
Star Wars, the Jedi out cast 2
-
Gta 5
-
GTA V and Saints Row V
-
Contra for NES. 99 lives code
-
Saints Row 4, i think.
-
Age of Empires II How do you turn this on? It adds as long as you aren't competitively playing against another person.
-
The built in ones on Lego Marvel.
-
Saints row the third.
-
It's been a while, so I'll skip to part two and say I think that in most instances cheat codes (on a second playthrough) add to the game. When I was a kid I had spiderman for the ps1 and after beating it I would go back with different spider suits and I thought it was really fun.
-
Every game as cheat codes. Cheat codes are what developers use to test something. Are they enabled for players. No.
-
LEGO: The Hobbit and I didn't use any of them.
-
Saints row 4
-
-

Edited by KingKrown: 6/27/2014 7:50:41 AM*Thinks*....depends on the code type. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, put in the code for the Power Of Love Sword, kind of took the fun out the game, steam rolling through everyone. It detracts for the most part, I remember using Cheat codes in Tench:Wrath Of heaven(stealth game), 99 of every item disguises and invisible included,HP Code...there was just no incentive to try with them on, I felt no reward V_V ruin the game playing like that. Invulnerability and all that jazz kind of takes the fun out, now codes like big head and stuff like that I think serve to make the game more fun. Saint's Row 3/4 cheats have no point to me lol,you already feel like they are on.

GTA V, the cheats weren't that great, but they were there.
