Anyone ever try one of these? I've tried a few in a few different games, and they're really fun. Also, feel free to share any Nuzlocke variations (Wedlocke, Egglocke, Eliminationlocke, etc) you have done or come up with.
For those of you who don't know what a Nuzlocke run is, here you go.
I'm about to try doing a Wonder Eliminationlocke in my X. The rules for this are:
- If a Pokemon faints, it can no longer be used (either box it or release it)
- In the first route, catch between 5-8 Pokemon. Then proceed to Wonder Trade all of them and your starter. You can only use the 6-9 Pokemon you receive through Wonder Trade throughout the entire game
- If you receive a duplicate of a Pokemon you already have from Wonder Trade, it can be Wonder Traded again
- If any of the Pokemon you receive are above level 12, you must Wonder Trade them again
- If all 6-9 of your Pokemon faint, you lose
- If your entire party faints, you lose (even if you have more Pokemon in the PC)
I'll also be using the rule that any Pokemon that faints because a Wobbuffet killed it isn't dead, because Wobbuffet is an ass.
