Both created by Matt Groening, but Futurama seems better at maintaining interesting episodes and characters to laugh at. Fry is the easily confused and dumb main character, Leela is the strong female lead, and so on. But when an episode needs to get sad and really touching, it gets pretty sad. Fry's dog episode probably one of the most sad things I've ever seen, I cried manly tears last time I saw it.
Other's are really good stories and entertaining as well, does anyone else think it was also a pretty good show for how long it ran?

Well, given how much of a dead horse The Simpsons is, anything is better than it.

I got bored and watched 15+ seasons of Simpsons in a month. Going to go with Futurama. Close though. Both good, but Futurama had more humor per episode I think. My own opinion of course.

Classic Simpsons = the golden age Current Simpsons = meh tier Classic Futurama = good tier Current Futurama = still good tier
-
No. The newer Futurama episodes are better than the newer Simpsons ones, but I honestly don't think any show beats classic Simpsons.
-
Futurama is definitely better. Especially the current Simpsons.
-
Yes. Because it is.

The show really excelled in my opinion when the Futurama re-aired on Comedy Central. I was sad when it got shut down for a second time. So yes better then Simpson's.

I loved Futurama. It's too bad the series is over. I hope Seth McFarlane doesn't do something similar to American Dad in order to keep the corpse of Family Guy going.
