I think they should also implement a 'world chat' option to talk to everyone if enabled.

I don't think that would work very well, man. You'd be interrupted every time you spoke by people yelling about stuff on another planet, or by idiots blasting music into their headset, but it's an interesting suggestion.

You're right. A good example is GTA online's free-roam voice chat, it's annoying.
