I've been thinking this for some time, what if the PSN are just the Lab Rats for Bungie? And the reason why they do is for the Xbox's users to get their later version first so we don't find as much error in their game as the PSN with their first games as our first game, as DeeJ says, with the controller in our hands.
I know it might sound stupid, but maybe there's a bright side.
Now... If you want a 90% chance of heartbreak (xbox users) click the link.
The other side is in the link
By the way, microsoft babies, suck it up.

Are xbox users the lab rats for the 1/2 a game that is titanfall then everyone gets the full game compete with a story mode in titanfall 2...ya know, once the 1 year paid beta is over
-
We are good lab rats :)
-
See I would believe we were lab rats too, but we got an extremely polished alpha and are getting exclusive content. Hell if this is their way of using us as pigs then I'm all for it.
-
Xbox users are just as much lab rats as psn users we are both testing the same beta you know. Any of these "improvements" will be for the psn users too. Your reason isnt very well constructed
-
It is because of Activision. This was their call. The determine the publication schedule, and PlayStation probably paid to have "special" considerations. Very few, if any, studios decide this part of their game.

You guys, it's all about money. They don't give a shit what console you play on. They went with ps because it's the more popular console right now. They just wanna get paid. It's not some -blam!-ing conspiracy to get xbox a better experience. What a -blam!-ing joke.
-
Ooooor. . . Sony payed a bunch of money to have Destiny marketed specifically to the Playstation audience.
-
Shouldn't say that or the entire xbox side will feel like a testing facility with all their first hand looks of dlc before ps haha
-
I don't mind being a Lab Rat.

Edited by DigiOps: 6/18/2014 10:49:51 PMI figured it went down like this: Bungie: "Let's get feedback from our community!" Activision: "If you're gonna do that, do it over there." Being a lab rat isn't a bad thing, but I think the reasoning behind it is a bit more simple than the individuals presenting arguments like this realize.

I think you're right. Bungie have had plenty of experience working with the Microsoft network infrastructure. I'm not surprised if they wanted to test it out on the psn before the beta. Of course they put a pr spin on it and made it sound as if they were doing us a favour, which they were. I'm not complaining :-)
