Don't get me wrong, I don't get most sports. I can sit through Baseball, but not much else.
Is it the build up of watching a bunch of half naked men groping eachother while waiting for the ball to fly their way or prancing around the field just to eventually score one goal, or less?
Is that what it is? The suspense?
At least in other sports there is constant stimulation/excitement.
Eh. I guess if you grow up dirt poor with AIDS living in a shack of some civil/tribal war-torn country with no entertainment then kicking a rock around a dirt field must be amazing.

How can you sit through baseball and not like soccer..? Baseball is right up there with NASCAR and golf as one of the most mind numbing sports to watch... For the record, I don't like soccer either. I pretty much only like American football and ice hockey. I just don't see how you can dislike soccer for being boring and like a far more boring sport.

there is none

It's mopre fun to watch than other sports, but considering I film about 12 hours of it a week, I really don't need to see FIFA too.

Edited by MoReCoWbELLx2x1: 6/17/2014 8:19:51 PMBecause us grass fairies play the most physically active sport in the world. Along with the skill that many of the players possess. And just the score of the game doesn't even dictate who is better. Because the worse team can win a lot. It depends on what takes place during the match. There arnt many other sports in the world that require the fitness, combined with then physicality of soccer. Sure other sports are more physical and some require you to be more fit. But almost no other combines the two like soccer does.

Half naked?

It's a hardcore sport, but it doesn't appeal to me either.

Very funny It's the suspense, and the awe of the skill and fitness required, because everyone can play, anyone that can play well is revered It's so accessible and everyone feels a link, hence the emotion

The obviously fake injuries are funny. But skip the game and watch the highlights for that.
