hmm, interesting. Do they have triggers similar or identical to our guns

Edit: I do happen to see triggers for the fuel rod cannons and the spiker but not for the rest of the covenant weaponry.

Fuel Rod Gun trigger does not work anyway. Covenant weaponry use pressure pads. So to fire the weapon, you squeeze the handle. The Spiker and Brute Shot are exceptions I believe.

For more than ten years of Halo, I never really investigated about how weapons worked. Thank you very much for sharing this information.

Yeah, it was info available back on Bungie.old. I don't know if it's ever been specifically stated the plasma weapons use magnetic fields, but the Plasma Torpedoes use it, so I think it's a logical conclusion to make.

Yes, they use the magnetic field to direct it. Fun Fact: the Plasma Pistols electromagnetic director is located in the grip
