so after getting my hands and fingers all into dat alpha, i had a few thoughts i felt like sharing.
first: you guys went all out with the voice actors, kudos. i noticed admiral raan from mass effect, morrigan from dragon age, nathan fillian from everything awesome ever, and my favoite faction has the best voice actor: dead orbit.
that being said, i noticed very little in the way of voices for our characters. my thought was that you could re-use the exo voice actors for guardian voices since the exos are machines, and their voices could be pre-programmed, if you were trying to go that route that is.
apart from that, everything was amazing for its alpha state. multip[layer was fun, but i wanted to touch on some of its aspects.
sniper rifles: heavy weapons for sure. you can literally snipe someone with heavy weapon ammo, get that ammo and not need it for your sniper rifle. ridiculous. i understand you guys are going a diferent route with multiplayer in this game, that was obvious when i got a shotgun at teh beginning of the match without rushing a position. but sniper rifles throughout the entire game? maybe i just have an aversion to them because i'm not great with them, but still seems a little OP to me.
also, i would love to be able to get more varied skins, faction emblems, and more in-depth customization for my sparrows and ship. i managed to get the dead orbit emblems i wanted but they were only visable on a page that isn't visible half the time, so being able to put something like that on my sparrow or ship would be awesome!
thanks for letting us see what you guys have been working on, Bungie! i'm officially counting the days until the beta, and i get a chubby just thinking about release day. keep rocking on guys. you make the games we want to play!

Snipers as a heavy weapon is ridiculous. If the ammo for them would be that rare, they would have to be a one hit kill anywhere on the body to be worth it.
