Delta Halo is one of my all time favorite Halo campaign levels due to specific reasons. The whole entire outside of the map can be explored easily and there's no invisible walls until you get to the very edge of the level where the ground texture ends.
I took some pictures of the places you can go to:
On top of the tallest mountain, overlooking the lake. The game couldn't render the part of the mountains behind the main temple because I was too far.
On the other side of the lake in the beginning of the level. There's nothing all that interesting out here other than a great view of the starting area of the level.
On top of the 2nd tallest mountain. You can see the entire level from up here with the exception of the ruins part. You can see everything from up here with no render issues.
Staring death straight in the eye. Delta Halo is notorious for its Jackal snipers in a lot of areas.
This makes me wonder. Its just a random open square on the cliffs above the ruins. I have no idea if it goes down to the water or to the level. I didn't go down.
Up close to the first temple. Obviously you're not supposed to be this close without going through the level the proper way so it can load the textures. Still pretty funny to look at.
Infamous "Trigate" under the lake. Its said that the golden Warthog is behind it.
At the very bottom of the lake.
Directly under the main temple. Looks like a Scarab with 6 legs.
On the mountains behind the main temple. As you can see on the left, the mountains are struggling to render in to frame because I am so far away from everything else.
This is the most interesting picture. There appears to be water behind the mountains towards the Sentinel Wall. If you look closely you can see water ripples in the scope. However due to an invisible wall you can't get to it. This is the first time I've see that there.
I'm hoping in the MCC they add more life to the outside part of this level. It seems a waste to have all that land but nothing on it or anything to interact with. I'm sure they will do something to keep map explorers like myself interested.

Pretty sure the rendering issues will be fixed.
