I have a week off coming up around the 4th of July, and I want to travel somewhere in the US. Preferably a place I've never been. However, I am having trouble locating such a place. Not because I have been to a lot of different places, but because I am indecisive. So I need your help flood.
I live in the south, so I've seen what it can offer. I was thinking about maybe Miami or somewhere in California. What places do you know of that are a must see/experience for a week vacation?
-
Nags Head, Outer Banks- North Carolina
-
Detroit, in a pick up truck, waving a confederate flag.
-
damascus
-
You could go camping near Franklin, North Carolina .-. On the fourth you can go downtown and there's a huge festival and fireworks display.
-
New Jersey.
-
Take a vacation to Syria or Iraq.
-
Seattle then visit Vancouver, or to Montreal, you can get in quite easily, if you are a US citizen.
-
Perhaps a cruise ? If you live in Florida, you can get amazing last minute deals for trips from Carnival and I think Royal Caribbean as well.
-
#Destiny I hear its great this time of year.

Topsail Island, North Carolina.

The Carolina's have a lot of beautiful, cheap places to visit.
-
RUSSIA

Come to Canada
-
Uranus
-
Why do people insist on going to California? I've lived here all my life and I can't imagine why you'd pay to get here when there's so many other places in the world to see.
-
Come to Canada (specifically the south western area).
-
South Sudan
-
Hmm... Go somewhere cheap. If it wasn't around 4th of July, I would recommend a beach in the Southern half of the US around September or October; they're cheaper around then, and they aren't freezing either. They usually have surprisingly perfect weather.

Across the street.

Canada!

Come to Miami!

Edited by Engrapadora: 6/13/2014 4:09:07 PMArizona. There's tons of Native American ruins, some of the most unique nature in the world, and great parks. Saguaro National Park is great, as is the Titan Missile Museum. You can see the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert. Sedona alone could keep you busy for weeks with its hiking trails and amazing landscape, and of course there's the Grand Canyon, which pictures never do justice.
