The Mustang won't gain as much weight as previously thought. It still gains some but only about 100ib. This is good new as weight usually spoils performance.

Never liked mustangs but I like this one.

Thats more than my mum gained this year, and its not over yet.

Over 3,500 pounds is still really heavy in my book. There's no reason a sports car should way that much, especially a V6.
-
So they are using an American test driver instead of a Korean?

I'll save my money and maybe buy a Lexus RC, or a 6 series BMW

While i prefer the look of the 2013 model, if i went for a 2015 i'd probably get this

>Not praising the reliant robin That motorized box on a trike should make a comeback lol.

I do like the Mustang Older brothers
-
I'd rip out the spare, jack and and unbolt the backseats during track days to get rid of that 100lbs, but still benefit from IRS.
-
It's getting fat. It needs to stop eating so much.
-
You Americans and your straight line cars
-
This is what I figured it would weigh from the start. I'm ok with this, with the IRS and added technology it was to be expected. Ford did a good job not letting the Mustang get to heavy. The V6 auto gained six pounds up to 86 pounds in the GT. Now if only they would release HP numbers. By the way the build and price might be going up as soon as tomorrow.

So they really cut weight everywhere else to accommodate for that IRS then? That's pretty neat engineering.
