What were the Precursors' plans for humanity? What about the forerunners? What about the Milky Way Galaxy?

Their plan was for us to inherit the Mantle. With their extermination by the Forerunners, their current plan is to test us for the Mantle by a Flood onslaught.

But the humans defeated the flood at the end of Halo 3. What now? Do they still have plans for humanity?

That wasn't the Flood onslaught. That was just a minor outbreak.

Yup, at the end of Primordium we get a nice little prophecy from the Timeless One that sets up the central conflict of the Reclaimer Saga. [quote]"The decision is final. Humans will replace you.
