Lord of Admirals' 2014 Halo Lore Q&A
Most of you might not remember, but last summer, I did a big Q&A of Halo lore. So, I thought I'd make this an annual occurrence around E3.
Basically, if you want to test my knowledge of Halo lore or want something in Halo's story explained, ask it here!

Are the Flood just Precursors and how? Why is it that by the time of the halo games taking place that the Covenant became more advanced than the humans? Wouldn't the forerunners have favored the humans and left more behind? One more, who was the Original Didact? And was he split (or why?) was he separated into the iso and ur?

However in the cutscene with Arbiter in MCC he says "The UNSC wants him back" hinting that he may be working for the UNSC to bring back John-117. Is Locke apart of ONI working with the UNSC? Or is he directly apart of the UNSC to get Chief?

6 RepliesOk, I'm sorry if I angered you. Serious question now. Is there a canonical reason for why the Halo 5 MA5, beyond being a different color, appears to be made out of polymer? Previous MA5 variants in Halo games appear to be made mostly out of some kind of metal, likely aluminum. On the subject of weapons, is there a reason why the DMR in Halo 5 no longer has an integrated ammo counter?

8 RepliesDo we have any idea why Palmer hates Halsey so much? Don't tell me that she's just following orders to kill Halsey. Palmer was antagonizing Halsey from the moment she arrived on Infinity. Palmer's actions recently deserve one hell of a lot of justification. Since the most recent story arc in Escalation began, Palmer has repeatedly put her troops in harms way for no good reason. Actions like these would normally see someone of her standing dishonorably discharged and/or stripped of rank.
