Lord of Admirals' 2014 Halo Lore Q&A
Most of you might not remember, but last summer, I did a big Q&A of Halo lore. So, I thought I'd make this an annual occurrence around E3.
Basically, if you want to test my knowledge of Halo lore or want something in Halo's story explained, ask it here!

13 RepliesAre the composed versions of the Prometheans and humans we fight on Requiem immune to the Flood's logic plague? I initially thought they would be (being composed versions of organic minds, rather than AI in nature), however I recall Monitor Chakas mentioning something about fear of potential logic plague effects on him in Silentium (I could be wrong though, it's a while since I've read it). If they were susceptible to the logic plague, it seems like a poor solution to the Flood on the original Didact's part.

Or did it just kill her regardless. 2: Can a single 8 gauge shotgun shell actually kill a fully shielded spartan? Or was that just an in game thing? 3: Do Spartans carry the weapons on their backs with magnets? 4: (separating from the spartan theme) When the Sangheili and San Shyuum first discovered the Lekgolo, what did the Lekgolo use as the armored shell when they formed Mgalekgolo? (Or did they not have armor?) And what is the armor made of around 2552?

10 Replies1. Who (in armor) has the most raw strength, spartan II's or elites? Like if Sam and Thel arm wrestled, who would win? 2. Are there any advantages that spartan IV's have over spartan II's? (Augmentation wise) 3. (This one might be confusing, or not make any sense, or based on false information) in halo CE I believe I remember Guilty Spark remarking on how effective human weapons are against the flood. Is this true? And if so is it just for gameplay or are human weapons actually better for killing flood?

14 RepliesThe Slipspace "Bomb" used in Long night of Solace. Did it kill Jorge? If so, I assume it would have to do with firing without a destination, leaving him and the corvette stuck in Slipspace, or being placed in a way that destroyed the Corvette rather than just teleported it. Could someone explain to me what happened to the ship/Jorge? Is there a conclusive answer on his status or is he one of the few Spartans that is actually MIA?
