Lord of Admirals' 2014 Halo Lore Q&A
Most of you might not remember, but last summer, I did a big Q&A of Halo lore. So, I thought I'd make this an annual occurrence around E3.
Basically, if you want to test my knowledge of Halo lore or want something in Halo's story explained, ask it here!

1 ReplyAny knowledge at all about the precursor's creations that predated the forerunners and humans - the previous universe itself? Indications about their true intentions in the universe? Does each precursor possess a distinct personality while remaining a hivemind? Is there a precursor hierarchy? Yog-Sothoth vs. Precursors; who prevails? Sorry about all these questions at once, the precursors are just so interesting to me.

Why does it only target humans, and how does the Covenant Zealot utilize it? 2. What happens to Locke and [spoiler]the woman (forgot her name)[/spoiler] after the end? I assume he gets put into the Spartan program? 3. What was the significance of the final second story? It seemed it was important, but I didn't get any of it. 4. Why was the Lekgolo buried? 5. Why was the Lekgolo different? Like, attracted to technology and all.

6 RepliesAs you already know, bungies original plan was for the forerunners to be human. However, they eventually changed their minds and made them an entirely different species. Because of this antagonists in the original trilogy (especially guilty spark) make references to humanity being forerunners. My question is, are quotes like these still considered valid from a lore stand point? What bullshit did 343 come up with to fix bungies mistake? "You are the child of my Makers. Inheritor of all they left behind. You are Forerunner! But this ring... is mine!" "I? I am a monument to all your sins."

3 RepliesHere's a halo primordium question for you. Who was the ONI ship able to travel to the ark if the portal was destroyed? Plus if the ark was destroyed by the halo ring then who could they have landed on the ark on the first place? Lastly, how were they able to find a fragment of Guilty Spark when he was destroyed on the halo ring by Master Chief? It makes no sense.
