Lord of Admirals' 2014 Halo Lore Q&A
Most of you might not remember, but last summer, I did a big Q&A of Halo lore. So, I thought I'd make this an annual occurrence around E3.
Basically, if you want to test my knowledge of Halo lore or want something in Halo's story explained, ask it here!

How does 343i expect me to believe that the pistol seen in Halo 5 is the M6C? Based on what I've seen of the M6C in the past, the Halo 5 one shares almost nothing except name and magazine size. Even the firing mechanisms are different.

8 RepliesI noticed a pattern with Halo 2's Campaign: Opening cutscene 1st pair: Armory (short), Cairo Station (medium/long). 2nd pair: Outskirts (long), Metropolis (short). 3rd pair: The Arbiter (short/medium), Oracle (long). 4th pair: Delta Halo (medium), Regret (medium). 5th pair: Sacred Icon (medium), Quarantine Zone (long). 6th/7th pair (alternating): Gravemind (long), Uprising (short), High Charity (medium), Great Journey (medium). Isn't that a bit odd that every 2 missions are pretty much one continuous mission?

4 RepliesEdited by PsychoPineapple: 1/19/2015 10:32:29 PMAt the end of the Forerunner-Flood war, Mendicant Bias attacked the Lesser Ark in an attempt to prevent the firing of the Halo Array, correct? Or perhaps he simply thought of it as the last Forerunner holdout... In any case, my question is this: If Mendicant knew about the Halos, why did he not attack a specific Installation, rather than the heavily protected Ark? If he disabled one Halo, 1/7 of the galaxy would be unaffected by the Halo effect if the array was activated, thus allowing Flood in that section to survive. Edit: Or were the Halos put in place via portal as the attack was happening? That would make more sense...

3 RepliesHow exactly does the Mjolnir Power Armor work in terms as an exoskeleton? It can be implied that in Halo: Mortal Dictata (I think?) that in the Mark VII armor that there are rotors in the suit and since it's the newest version, it can easily be told that previous iterations used the same concept.
