So you have Crucible Marks and Crucible Points. Crucible Points level up your Crucible Rank (Sort of like a rank in Reach) and are earned by playing MP. When you have a high Crucible Rank, you are able to purchase rare weapons/armor/emblems/shaders from various vendors at The Tower. You purchase this gear with the Crucible Marks.
