Edited by MoonDawg: 6/11/2014 12:34:13 AMSo you have Crucible Marks and Crucible Points. Crucible Points level up your Crucible Rank (Sort of like a rank in Reach) and are earned by playing MP. When you have a high Crucible Rank, you are able to purchase rare weapons/armor/emblems/shaders from various vendors at The Tower. You purchase this gear with the Crucible Marks.

Oh Ok. So multiplayer has its own sort of currency system?
-
In a way, yes. You basically buy your gear with those marks!

Man! This is great news to me! So we have a rank, to keep track of our progress and points serve a purpose? I noticed top players unlocked or were rewarded items as well. Is the rank pointless? Like just earning xp that gains a title? Or is it attached to skill? That may be used for matchmaking purposes? Probably to early to tell?

I think it's too early to tell. RIGHT NOW, it's only used to unlock new PVP gear to buy from vendors and factions. It may play a bigger role later on down the road. And yes, you can unlock random gear just from playing which is cool. I haven't gotten anything worthwhile yet though! I got most of my gear from the Cryptarch and Strike. ;)

Sounds exciting bro. Thanks Much for the info

No problem!

I like the sound of that so far.
