You have a head, chest, legs, gauntlets, and unique slot for armor. The unique slot is class specific. Capes for Hunters, arm bands for Warlocks, and little sashes for Titans. You can change the color of your armor by purchasing shaders with Glimmer. I'm using the New Monarchy shader right now! As for the open world, we can currently explore the Cosmodrome in Old Russia. It's pretty massive from what I've explored. You can get Patrol missions to earn some faction reputation and money as well as participate in Public Events. The character creation is also pretty bad ass as well.
