'It should've been out in October!' And you're like, 'Well, you know, the difference between October and when it came out... you can live life and be okay.'
And then it comes out, and people are still gonna eviscerate it, and say 'Well, it didn't live up to expectations!' Shut up! ...It's amazing: any game that comes out is amazing, it is ones and zeroes that are translated into Jesus particles, it's amazing, it's incredible what we're doing. 'The graphics aren't that great!' Shut up!
I think a large number of you lot (not us, don't lump me in with the bitter old hacks) could learn a thing or two from Mr. Joel-Delsin DeWitt.

Edited by Toa Axis: 6/3/2014 7:02:18 PMThat is a terrible mindset to have. I love the man's work but we shouldn't just excuse games that are bad/mediocre just because they take a lot of time and effort. Otherwise we'd see stagnation in the industry (more than there already is, at least). Gamers are already very unnecessarily accepting of things. Look at the OG Xbone policies; we stood up and said 'No, we will not accept this.' And the policies changed. People complain about microtransactions/Day 1 DLC, etc., but these wouldn't be issues if we didn't continually accept crap from these devs/publishers.
