One look at the USA, and its easy to see what concepts failed us as a nation. Namely, capitalism, democracy and Christianity. Now, yes, Christianity is a religion and not a concept. But I am talking about the set of values Christianity is supposed to represent, charity, goodwill, forgiveness etc...
But, why? Has America fallen for these concepts to have failed us? Yes. As it stands China has a better economy, New Zealand is the most free, and people in Scandinavia are happier. We tried it our way. And now after all the chips are on the table, we gave to admit that each and every one is a failure.
Discuss what a retarded opinion this is, or if you actually think its true. If you raged, you lost.
capitalism
because regulations destroyed one of the core concepts of capitalism "High Risk, High Reward". Now we can talk about the benefits and non-benefits of regulation until we're blue in the face. But rewarding companies for scamming people when they would have naturally gone under from their own greediness is a problem with the government not intervening it the right way.
democracy
I don't necessarily agree with keeping the same person in office over and over again, and Congress should have a tenure limit, I also don't think electing a new person is automatically going to change anything.
charity
Reading Rainbow just received millions of dollars on Kickstarter. Clearly people are willing to give their money towards funding a program privately if it's good enough.
