So, for some reason, over the past few months people with similar phone numbers to mine have been calling my cellphone. My number and theirs all share the same three digit combination. (555-XXX-5555) (XXX being the same three digits each time) The first time, I never got to the phone in time. I called them back and asked them why they called. They responded by saying that they had no idea what I was talking about, and that they never called me. I said okay and hung up, and just figured that maybe their phone accidentally dialed or something, and the similar phone number was just a coincidence. The second, it was a different number, but still had the same three digits. I missed the call and never called back. The third, it was a different number, but STILL had the same three digits. I missed the call and never called back. The fourth time, I picked up. The guy on the line said that my number called him, and he wanted to know why I called. Of course, I never actually called him -- my phone was sitting beside me the entire time. Again, his number had the same three digits. Now, at this point, I'm massively -blam!-ing confused. The first call happened like months ago, and the last call happened a few minutes ago. Any ideas what could be happening?
