PS4 Guardians - Preloading?

Since Playstation announced that you will be able to preload Destiny a few days in advance, I'm wondering if I shouldn't cancel my pre-order through Amazon and pre-order again through PSN. Anyone else going this route in order to make sure you can play at 12:00:01?

i am thinking of doing that as well. only thing i am worried about is there is a message on PSN that says if you preorder, you won't be able to play until midnight PST. which is a problem for me since i live in florida. don't know if that will be a problem for you.

    • I am getting it digitally so I can play at midnight as I think it will be very unlikely that there will be a midnight launch anywhere near me. I think ill be playing on PS4 and xBone so I'll probably end up getting a physical copy for xBone.

I'm going to talk with GameStop and figure out whether or not I'm somehow afforded the pre-loading benefit through my well-documented preorder with them. If not, I will have a "delayed" debut to the full release of Destiny, because damn it if I don't get my collector's edition.
