My father just broke the frames on his glasses. He wore them for 19 years and says they'll cost hundreds of dollars to replace.
I don't wear glasses so I don't know anything about this. Can we get new glasses frames for less than $100 or something reasonable? We don't have a lot of money...

Take the glass parts of the glass and turn them into shivs, then use the shivs to rob an eyeglass store and take everything they have. Once you have all those glasses and you dupted the cops, turn the glasses into dust. Snort the dust until your lungs start to bleed on the inside and you are in great pain. When this happens, whip out your cock and tie a shiv at the end of it. Then proceed to have a cock fight with your partner; loser losses his penis. Take the losers penis and rub it all over your face as war paint to summon the dark lord satan. Once you have, sacrifice the innocent and the virginity of a 15 year old girl and ask for a new pair of eye glasses in exchange. Once you have sold your own soul as well, take the glasses to your father. Done.

Go to Mexico. I'm serious, my last frames cost $50 and lasted me the whole two years.

I'm pretty sure a glasses shop should be able to repair the frame. Worst case scenario, you could solder them back together.

19 years? It's time he got new ones anyhow. No new frames will fit the lenses he has now anyhow. Just find a decent one hour place. They usually have some deals going on.

Jesus, 19 years? I had my last pair for 5 and they felt ancient. Anyway, you can't just replace the frames as the lenses are molded to fit in them. Glasses can be pretty cheap, though. I bought a spare pair at Wal-Mart for $58. They would have cost around $100 without vision insurance.
