Your most anticipated character from Guardians of the Galaxy?
After seeing the latest trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy I can say my favourite character so far is Drax the Destroyer. I haven't read any of the comics but I've read up on his back story and apparently he was once a human but his soul was placed in this new body. From what we've seen so far it's likely that in the movie he'll simply be an alien species which I would kind of prefer to be honest.
I cannot wait for this goddamn movie, it looks amazing and it will finally expand on the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which we've only really seen through Thor and that teaser at the end of the Avengers. There are definitely opportunities for tie ins, for example they could tie this into the TAHITI storyline on Agents of SHIELD. Or perhaps one of the Nine Realms will be featured, though I doubt it will be Asgard.
So who's your favourite character so far and are you excited about this film?
EDIT: Seriously? I'm the only one rooting for Drax?! C'mon!

3 RepliesI'm hoping Cosmo will be in it. For the comic impaired, he's a Russian dog that was sent into space. The USSR thought he died, but he ended up on Knowhere, which was the giant head in the trailer. He's telepathic, and telekinetic.

I'm not sure about a favourite, probably Raccoon or Groot or even Starlord, but I definitely can't wait to see more of Nebula, Thanos and that collector.
