7/10. Pretty good. AI could be wonky at times. For example I'd be stealthy and an enemy would look right at me and go "What the f---?" and then keep walking on. That made it lose a point (even though that weirdly behaved AI worked out in my favor most of the time). The dual-wielding felt unnecessary, I used dual-wielding maybe 5% of the time in combat. For that it loses another point. Finally the last thing that bothered me was that there was a lack of weapon arsenal. There was the AR/Pistol/Shotgun/Beam-Rifle-Thing/and Marksman Rifle. You also had grenades and throwing knives. Thats it, nothing more. Felt very shallow for a single-player only shooter, and for that it loses it's final, and 3rd point. Making it (as stated above) 7/10. The story was good, and contrary to popular opinion, I liked that you had to manually pick up bullets/health/armor. It made combat much more tactical. You couldn't just spam the enemies till they died. The threat of ammunition depletion is something that makes shooters more involved. The combat itself was very straight-forward, it wasn't easy nor hard (I played on the difficulty below Uber), but a good middle. Learning tactics against certain enemy units was something I enjoyed. The game also had a good campaign length, which was good. The graphics were ok for next-gen, but nothing phenomenal. The availability of lore/side missions/alternative game modes/easter eggs/etc. made it a little more fun and is worth noting. Yeah, definitely a good game, but not a great or awesome game by any means. (Keep in mind my 1-10 rating is legit 1-10. 1-4 = bad. 5 = average. 6-10 = good. I also don't do decimals.)
