I was watching the devils lair game play trailer and couldn't help myself from googly eyeing the shotguns in it, im a total shotgun fanatic in any game, in battlefield, call of duty, halo, gears of war, even borderlands before the nerfed amped shields. But nine times out of ten they are fairly weak because people are always like "there to powerful, they must be nerfed" or "they shouldnt kill from that far away". But watching this trailer gave me hope that shotguns will be a viable option thats actually usefull and not because its a weapon class thats required to be there. i really hope that no one complains about them (which i know is going to happen nut hopefully not to much) and they still as effective as ive seen them in the trailer
