"Well, I can't talk about it. I mean, obviously we'd love to be on as many platforms as possible," Staten told GameSpot. "We want to get the game into as many hands as we can. But we're not talking about PC right now. I know it's painful; every time someone asks me that question I can see it in their eyes."
Okay so I'm gonna start this off by saying I think consoles are great, they deliver a solid gaming experience without breaking the bank, make social gaming easier, etc.
However, if you are someone (like me) who owns a PC capable of gaming, and doesn't want to have to buy a next gen just to play Destiny, Destiny for PC is an obvious solution! But Bungie is always careful to step around the answers.

This makes me think that Activision is the one who is going to make the final call on a PC port. Bungie is the developer, they do the fantastical work while Activision handles the publishing and distribution.
And does Activision like PC ports? You bet they do! They have PC titles ranging from 'Barbie Fashion Show' to 'CoD Ghosts' [interactive fish simulator].
Also, the PS4 and XBone both use the AMD Jaguar CPU/GPU architecture, which means it is very similar to a PC in graphics processing (AMD Radeon is a big name in the PC graphics market).
So what I'm trying to say here is that a PC port is VERY likely, it may not be on release day, but that could be another reason why Bungie is staying quiet, the PC port might not be finished by that time since they have stated they are "focusing on the consoles at the moment." (I think it was the Eric Osborne E3 interview where I heard that)
Thoughts?

Edited by TheWowso: 5/24/2014 12:44:50 AMOnly thing is I don't like "ports." If I'm gonna play a game, I want it to be developed for THAT system, not ported over. But I know others don't feel that way.
