Playstation store is now offering digital pre-orders that include Beta access and early preload (download) of Destiny on 9/4. What does this mean? No waiting in line for midnight launch at your local retailer, no waiting for delivery of Destiny to your delivery address, and no waiting for your local retailer to open to pick up your copy of Destiny.
Check MoreConsole's video above for details.

I like going to midnight launches. Plus you can't get a special edition

My dad pre-ordered it at Best Buy. Crap

I'm debating on whether or not to get two versions. PS4 Digital & PS3 physical. It doesn't appear that PS4 players can play with PS3 and I may want to play with some PS3 Guardians. Also if the Collectors edition is indeed announced I will want it! Now here is another thing I just purchased the physical copy of Wolfenstein and the file size is 52 gigs. Well the download/install only took 30-40 mins when the disc was inserted. If the Destiny file is around the same size then its probable that the Install won't take forever. So when I pick up the game in store around Midnight I could be playing the game before 2am CST without buying the digital copy and preloading on 9-4. I'm not sure if anyone saw that if you buy the digital version you can only start playing the game at 12am PST on launch day. To me that doesn't seem like I need to buy the digital version because I reside in the Central Time Zone.

Early access! That's friggin' hilarious.

More incentive to get the PS4 version, but I like my discs!

That really works for me... I can see the consoles in another 10 yrs not even having disks anymore, everything is going to online now and although you will be able to play them offline (some) most will be online so internet is a must these days.. I don't like the direction this is taking really, my internet is already 60 a month, going to be more as the years go by. Gaming doesn't just cost the game anymore.
