Best siderarm for a SHTF scenario?
T4R. What do you think, flood? If society fell apart and anarchy began to rise, what sidearm would you choose to be your survival buddy? I'd probably for with a Beretta 92fs or my sexy Jericho 941. What about you, flood?

Taurus has also promotes the Judge as a a self-defense tool against carjacking and for home protection. There's even judges in places like Miami that have bought them for self-defense in the court room

While I favor an M1911, I'd side with a glock 9mm. Ease of repair and field stripping, more common ammo, lightweight, less recoil. And as an added bonus it is surprisingly well balanced for use as a thrown projectile

2 RepliesRuger GP100, in impossible to jam, over engineered to the point of being neigh-indestructible, and can take either .38 Special or .357 Magnum rounds. Speed loaders to assist. Ammo capacity however is quite low at 6 rounds.
