T4R. What do you think, flood? If society fell apart and anarchy began to rise, what sidearm would you choose to be your survival buddy? I'd probably for with a Beretta 92fs or my sexy Jericho 941. What about you, flood?

A dessert eagle .50 cal. It's a one shot kill on anyone because cod told me so.

Edited by IchEsseKinder: 7/7/2014 9:50:27 PMThe Taurus Raging Judge It fires .410 bore, .454 Casull, and .45 Colt giving you 3 different ammunition choices which is great in a situation where you can't find one certain caliber. Taurus has also promotes the Judge as a a self-defense tool against carjacking and for home protection. There's even judges in places like Miami that have bought them for self-defense in the court room

While I favor an M1911, I'd side with a glock 9mm. Ease of repair and field stripping, more common ammo, lightweight, less recoil. And as an added bonus it is surprisingly well balanced for use as a thrown projectile

Glock 19.

92fs is disgusting. The FNP is pretty much as good as you'll get when it comes to self-defense SHTF sidearms.
-
Model 1887 Akimbo
-
M1911 Doesn't matter which kind. I'd have dozens of them.

I'm going to say the Kimber Warrior. .45 > Everything else.

Am I a really good shot in this scenario? If so, a large .22 of some kind, I'd use all of those bullets for headshots.
-
M1911.
-
M1911 any day.
-
I'd jump into my covenant cruiser and get the Requiem outta here!
-
Norinco NP22. SIG 226 clone for a third of the price. And pretty damn good according to all the reviews I've seen.
-
It'll kick like a horse but your target will go down... hard.

Ruger GP100, in impossible to jam, over engineered to the point of being neigh-indestructible, and can take either .38 Special or .357 Magnum rounds. Speed loaders to assist. Ammo capacity however is quite low at 6 rounds.
