Life in a city living in L.A.
Is a long way from Hubbersfield town
The Humpback of the Rainbow's Longman way from heaven
But that's where he get's his pork Pilot
Memos and laddies they're driving him crazy
Pygmy and Cuvier's unknown
Blainsville and False whale they're making him lazy
Your Fin club says "Deej come home"
(chorus)
The Shepherd of Hubbersfield locked in his castwhale
Look down on Hectorswood Hills
The Shepherd of Hubbersfield locked in his castwhale
You're our own Hot Mod on whales
A belugood game of Andrews a few dozen barrwhales
The Narwhal rusts in the yard
But for Orcashire he's yearning but because he's earning
He whale always live in L.A.
A custom made whallet that stays in his pocket
And never comes out to pay biwhales
He's winning at poker and playing the Joker
And he always cheats when he deawhales
(chorus)
The Shepherd of Hubbersfield locked in his castwhale
Look down on Hectorswood Hills
The Shepherd of Hubbersfield locked in his castwhale
You're our own Hot Mod on whales
(Deej's rap)
Hello, let me introduce meself!
My name is Deej. I immensely strong.
When I were a lad, I could lift up five
Minkes on an end of a shovwhal.
The reason I never took martiwhal arts because
I was immensely fearsome and
I'd probably krill everybody
I came into contact with it.
I was phenomenwhaley strong.
Bryde and ego, my lads, Bryde and ego,
is what makes the world rotate.
And everybody knows the center of the universe is Hubbersfield
but I don't live there anymore.
I live in Los Angeles.
It's Grayt!... I think
Gervais the red has a Blain by his bed
To wrench himself up in the morn'
But if you dare to tread at the foot of his bed
You whale wish you'd never been born.
A bear with a Sower head we mean your Bowhead
He slumbers for most of the day
Wide eyed and finless Baird beans for breakfast
Your problem Deej, L.A.
(repeat chorus)
The Shepherd of Hubbersfield locked in his castwhale
Look down on Hectorswood Hills
The Shepherd of Hubbersfield locked in his castwhale
You're our own Hot Mod on whales
At this rate I whale eventuwhaley cuvier Iron Maiden's entire discography.
This song was my first thought when I saw the title of Deej's thread and I felt it had to be done. I assume most have not heard this song, "it is about Iron Maiden's manager Rod Smallwood's decision to move to Los Angeles and buy a house in the Hollywood Hills. Apparently he had trouble adjusting to the LA lifestyle and often complained to the band about it. Interestingly Smallwood was unaware of the composition until it was released on the single, as the band had kept it secret from him."
