Xbox One E3 2014 leak was bollocks. Here's why.
Aside from the obvious reasons (is there any demand for a Ryse sequel?), there's this:

I see your points but as Phil Spencer stated again that he wants E3 to be about games(new). That's why the kinect-less & GwG was announced. It also kind of builds momentum going into E3.

I enjoyed Ryse while it lasted(very short game) but my copy of the game was free, I would of been quite irked if I had payed full price for it

But I thought that with the Fallout 4 bit. All I know about GWG on X1 is that it will be like PS+ and require a sub in order to play the games (meaning you don't keep them). Good thing I think since it'll mean newer-ish games.

Maybe they announced it earlier than planned. The fact that that was posted prior to the actual announcement validates it even more. Same with the price drop.
