Lady's and Gentlemen, today we are going to do something incredible. Some of you may know of a project called 'Extra Life' which is about gamers making a difference. With this project they make a difference through raising money for children's hospitals that treat children with both severe and terminal illnesses, by playing video games. Over the years Bungie has brought us the incredible series of Halo and Marathon as well as Oni, Operation Desert Storm and now Destiny. I can't think of a better way of saying that we are grateful to them by supporting a cause that they care deeply for. Our plan is to raise money for the Seattle Children's Hospital and to get as many guardians involved as possible. We will be hosting a 24 hour Destiny/Halo gaming session on the 25th October 2014 on behalf of this cause and don't worry if you can't do the entire 24 hours, even 10 minutes of your time would mean the world. Signing up is free and no bank details are required.
1. To sign up visit http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm? and click 'JOIN' in the green box on the right hand side.
2. On the sign-up sheet where it says 'Roles' select 'Join a Team' and scroll down to 'Bungie Community'.
3. When you get to selecting the hospital scroll down to 'WA - Seattle Children's Hospital' and select it.
4. After that input all of your personal details that need to be submitted and you'll get an email with your link.
5. Once you have the link. Go to your twitch account on a PC and at the bottom of the page create a button at the bottom with your link. You can also post it on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, and any other media outlets. Get it out there people!
6. If you can't live-stream that's ok. If you were to pick a member and use his link, you still send it out to your Facebook friends, family and coworkers.
I will share with you the reason why this is so close to my heart and is a cause worth fighting for. When I was very young my baby brother died. I was devastated but for my parents it must have been so much worse. If I can help other families save their children by raising money for hospitals to help them then it is worth it. It will never bring my little brother back to me but it might save someone else's - DJPugh

If I can emphasise a few things it's that no bank details of any kind need to be entered to register on the site and it doesn't matter if you raise $1000 or $0.10, what matters is that you are making a difference to a childs life.
As of 23:22 GMT+0 on 9th May 2014 we have 41 participants in the team and $110 raised...what will October bring?
