World Cup is in 31 days!
Who will you be supporting during the World Cup? And what group is your country in? Who do you think will win this World Cup? This is the lineup of countries in the World Cup this year.
Do you think your country has a chance to get out of the group that they are in?
I support the US, obviously. I think we have a decent chance to get out of the group. We should be able to beat Ghana, and can beat Portugal if we can stop Ronaldo's service. And Ronaldo has been injured this year at times, so that could work in our favor. Germany i don't think we will be able to beat, as i think they will win this World Cup.
Tell us what your country's journey in the World Cup this year will be like.

My tier of supported teams: England Germany Uruguay Italy

I think the USA can make it out of the group stage if they play to their potential. I have the Netherlands as my backup team.

USA we are here. Oooh oh oooh oh.
-
Wait Americans watch real football? Lol you guys never get passed the group stages lol.
-
deutschland über al!- Oh.
-
Brazil will win the World Cup.

Living in Australia naturally Australia, but goddammit they have the toughest group - Spain, Netherlands, and Chile. Also supporting Italy cause my background 'n' stuff (Juventis played well this season with only three losses and most of their defensive line are Italian, so that's a positive.)

USA will win

My country (US) will be lucky to even get three points.
-
>Sports Why do the US even bother? It's not like you even get far anyways.
I think we have a decent chance to get out of the group.
I doubt it, but it would be a pleasant surprise. I have Germany winning it this year. Also, Brazil is apparently abandoning a lot of projects that were planned for the World Cup.

Edited by xurs cheeky bag: 5/11/2014 10:48:15 PMGermany is basically guaranteed to get out of the group stage, so it'll be Portugal vs USA for that second spot. Should be interesting, although I think the US can win as long as we slow down Portugal's attack, specifically Ronaldo.

Soccer!?!? No thanks, I'm an American. We can afford to play sports with our hands.
