Have you ever done a 1 Pokemon only run?
As in, attempt to beat the game with only 1 Pokemon? Of course you can have stuff to use as HM slaves, but you must never use them in battle. I'm about to try a Blaziken/Pelipper run in Emerald. Pelippers there for double battles and it could be a laugh.

Lots of times with the starters, but only because I was too young and didn't understand I should train more then one pokemon, lol.
