I usually play my DS and Gameboys around the house, on road trips, at hotels, and at family's houses where others are playing. A few years ago when I lived in an apartment complex, all the neighborhood kids would hang out around the staircases or tennis court doing link cable/LAN matchups. This happened quite often, especially when the weather was nice; our parents didn't want us staying inside on the TV all day. Pokémon and Mario Kart were the GOAT.
