Ed Boon is teasing something for E3
I'm hoping it's a new Mortal Kombat game whether it be a core game or the rumored Shaolin Monks remake. My dream is that Marvel doesn't give Capcom licensing rights, and instead gives them to NetherRealm Studios, so they can make Injustice 2: When Worlds Collide. I can dream, right? What do you guys think he will reveal?

It's most likely going to be a Mortal Kombat sequel, but I really wonder what the hell it's going to be about. Shinnok and Quan Chi are obviously going to be the villains, but most of the heroes are dead and under Quan Chi's control. All we really have left are Raiden, Johnny Cage, Sonya and whatever C-listers were introduced from MK4 onward. That's not a good roster.

If it is something like Injustice 2 I hope they try to build the game fresh instead of copy/pasting Mortal Kombat completely. I know you can only do so much with fighting games at this point but a little bit of innovation wouldn't go amiss.
