When I was a mod for a private group, I was a bit more lenient with my punishments for the active members of the group I liked. I was still pretty chill and relatively fair tbh.

Yep, and the other way around. They are human after all, if someone irritates them then they aren't going to be as merciful as say someone who they like. Of course spamming meatspin gets you a ban regardless of ideological alignment though.
