How would you feel about loot-able caravans? They would essentially be like enemy patrols except they would be guarding a treasure (chest) which could be plundered if you manage to kill several mini-bosses who guard the caravan. But how difficult should it be and how rare should these caravans be?
Another possibility could be a competitive multiplayer mode where Guardians from one faction had to transport and defend a treasure/item from one side of a world map to the other to that factions base. However the guardians from another faction would have to hijack the caravan and bring it to their base, but now the first faction would have to try to take over the caravan again.

With a high chance to drop an exotic weapon/armor piece and a helluva a lot of glimmer. The reward matches the difficulty. Sounds like a pretty good public event. Nice thread unlike theses other trolls. I've got to give you props for this one it leaves much for the imagination. Hopefully bungie hooks us up with this one it'll be a whole lot of fun keep up the good work. I'll see you guys starside.

This is a great idea. Might be hard to find it once you loose it to the other faction. But I like the idea of it moving around maybe even using misdirection.
-
That would be really cool

BL2!!!
-
This sounds like a great idea. It should also only last for a very short time.
-
Aww, you took out your question about narwhals..
-
You know that bus you could rob in Borderlands 2? Never got any good loot out of that.
-
I think it should be like the giant camp's in skyrim: always there but hard to defeat and get the loot
-
It's a bit like borderlands 2 when in that desert area there were caravans with loot on them, personally I think they should be medium level of hardness but be very rare meaning they can carry good loot and not just rubbish weapons that you went through all the enemies just to get that
-
Like Capture the flag... I like it

I still can't go to the dust in BL2 without raiding the caravan every time. However, I would think that in these should probably be controlled by enemies instead of civilians, seeing as how we're supposed to be good guys. I imagine that there will be rare opportunities to get a bunch of loot very easily, even if it doesn't take that specific form.
-
I feel that some raids and strikes will be just like that
-
Riding space narwhals through the ocean of our enemies tears, while singing chocolate rain, with nuclear fireballs exploding behind us, and flying laser sharks soaring through the skies shooting rainbows and dubstep across the land. All while riding said narwhals off into the eternal sunset. ...

You know what's weird? Many of the threads in this sub forum are yours. But they're usually good, thought and discussion provoking threads. Not the "wat claz u gon plehh" stuff. And for that I give ya props homee G! OT: great idea.
