I never understood why people find it wrong; it's two people in love, a tender and caring emotion. Who are they to dictate what homosexuals can and can not do?
Love is love.
By the way, why is it a sin? Especially when someone is born gay? That's kind of a "-blam!- you" nsticker that the Christian God slaps on.
-
bcuz it r sin sez so in bibel checkmate atheists.
-
Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, AND DEFINITELY not Adam and golden retrieve.
-
I guess it's still viewed like this.
-
Probably because man + woman = baby. No matter how much they -blam!- neither two men nor two women can make a baby. That's at least what I think the rationale for it is.
Is gay marriage viewed as wrong?
Only by morons who want to deny others of love.

Edited by Magical Robot: 5/2/2014 1:53:24 AMFear mostly. Come on, you have to admit that's scarier than any horror movie. But like the movie, it's just a big display and no animals were harmed in the making of it. (one can hope)

Edited by Madman Mordo: 5/2/2014 1:27:50 AMAt this point the only arguments against it are religious orientated which is inherently flawed in itself, as well as the intolerant scumbags that just think it's icky because it's subjectively icky to them. It does not harm anyone, it won't bring about economic collapse or the apocalypse, and it certainly will not, in any way shape or form, destroy the "sanctity" of marriage. The sooner it happens, the better.

Because of Change, and religion, and culture. and other variable factors.

How does gay marriage help me?
-
People are afraid because it's different. And they don't bother to understand. Men wrote the bible, therefore it holds it's fair share of what people feel god would've wanted. Those people are dumb. I'm an atheist by the by. Just try to see it from their perspective. They're afraid and their (the religious people that hate homosexuality; not saying all of them do) god reassures that their fears and anger are in good place. It's a perfect shitstorm. Oh, and I've met atheists that are just as bad so you know that I'm not biased towards this.
-
Because its not inclined by nature. That along people are scared of breaking the norm of typical and widespread taboo in the light of others
theyre pretty gay

By the way, why is it a sin? Especially when someone is born gay?
There isn't a gay gene.

well, as my grandpa always says...
gays don't reproduce
People argue that the government doesn't have the authority to redefine marriage to fit their needs. Those same people seem to forget that years ago (And still in some places), marriage was equivalent to a business deal. You give me your four cows, you can marry my daughter.
-
because people are stupid.

Edited by Scoopicus: 5/2/2014 1:02:24 AMsome people are irrational assholes sometimes those people are very influential and turn other people into irrational assholes next thing you know you can't marry someone with a dick if you also have a dick i dunno what to tell you
